My students come from low income families in Pennsylvania. Most have hard lives at home. However they come to school ready to learn with a great attitude. The stories I hear about their home lives are at times heart wrenching, and I always let them know that they are safe at school. My students think they are sometimes too cool for music and I hope that with new instruments, they will see how fun and exciting music can be.
About my class
