Learning centers are an amazing way to motivate students to take an active role in their learning. They can provide much needed review, practice, and enrichment for students. They are also FUN! Second graders need math to be "hands on." They need to experiment and explore with manipulatives. The centers I have picked will help them understand the meaning of math concepts and build number sense and fluency. The independent practice will allow me to meet with small groups of students to reinforce concepts and assess comprehension. Please help me boost math skills and make a difference in students' learning!

About my class
