My students range from low to mid socioeconomic status, and many of them play more video games and watch more T.V. than they do reading or tinkering. My school is an A+ and Blue Ribbon school, that strives to push students to the best of their abilities. We have very high expectations for our students and they rise to those expectations. However, to continue pushing our students to their highest abilities with the common core and to better prepare our students for the 21st century skills that do not yet exist, we need to iPad Mini tablets. These tablets will allow students to learn more deeply through project & technology based learning, focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The apps that the iPad offers allow students to learn how to write code, create movies, games, presentations, movies, global collaboration with schools across the globe, and much much more.
