My students have been asking all year for me to provide them with colored pencils, crayons, and markers that they can use to draw with during indoor recess. They also ask for these items to use during their "Word Work" center of our ELA block. After all, writing your spelling words is more fun when you can write them in rainbow colors, right?!
I hope that providing these materials to my students will continue to encourage their passion and love for art. Most of my students cannot afford their own art supplies and look forward to the exciting art projects that we do at school to enhance their learning. I hope to be able to provide more opportunities for projects which utilize watercolor paint or "people colored" paper.
