I work in an inner-city school. My students are fun, silly, loving, AMAZING kids who enjoy coming to school every day to learn, despite the challenges they often encounter. For a lot of students, our school is truly a safe haven where they know they will be safe, loved, fed and well taken care for at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Our school has 11 buildings among 4 campuses. Our building has 400+ Kindergarten to Fifth-Grade students. Our staff collaborates to ensure that we provide our students with a safe, engaging learning environment built on mutual respect. We love our students and do everything we can to have a positive influence on their lives over the course of the nine months where they are truly, our children.
