My students LOVE to make art! They also LOVE to make a mess! When we make art we are free to be creative and play! We learn how to solve problems when we make mistakes and we think out side of the box! We are allowed to explore materials and learn what they can do! Unfortunately, our parents and our maintenance man doesn't always LOVE our mess! See we come from an urban public school and we have a dress code that we have to follow everyday! ugh!! Sometimes its hard for us to make a mess because we are scared to ruin our clothes. We don't have a lot of them!
