Flexible seating allows students the opportunity to take charge of their own learning. Students will be able to choose a seat each week that they feel will allow them to do their best work. Students will be able to utilize all of the different types of seating as they move throughout the room during the day to work and collaborate with each other.
When students trade in their chairs for stability balls, wobble chairs and cushions, and bouncy bands, it will give them the ability to stay active throughout the day while staying on task. With students able to engage both their bodies and their minds at the same time, they will enjoy and foster a love for learning. The best seat in town will always be the seat that allows my diverse learners the opportunity to succeed!
