Our school is a Title One school in urban Phoenix. We are in a low socioeconomic area where many of our children live at or below the poverty level. Almost 98% of our students receive free or reduced lunch and 100% partake in a free breakfast program. We wear uniforms to try and reduce the competition created by everyday clothing yet even there many of our students rely on donations for their uniforms. But, our kids are wonderful! They love to learn and they shine with knowledge acquired. Though many struggle with issues associated to living in a bilingual household they are strong and proud and great kids.
