I loved my time playing and performing in a hand bell choir back home. I want to share this experience with my students now.
Learning how to play hand bells is an exciting way for students to make music, practice and improve hand/eye coordination, and work as a team to create a beautiful sound.
With percussion instruments students learn the basics of steady beat and rhythm. They also learn to work independently and as a team to build musicianship and socialization.
Offering students another outlet for performance is another way I can help to build their musical skills as well as their confidence and self-esteem.
