My school is a Title I school. This means that most of my students have free or reduced lunch. They come from a low income home. My students come from homes that may not have Internet access. It is important for them to have access to technology for their futures! It also captivates their attention and helps them to learn new skills more quickly. My students will able to be challenged by picking different apps based on their current levels. My class typically consists of 20 wonderful kindergartners ranging from 4 to 6 years old. As a kindergarten teacher, I work with students at all levels. I provide a lot of emerging, on-level, and above-level instruction, content support, and vocabulary/grammar development. By the end of the school year, I want my students to feel confident in their reading skills.
