The ball chairs will be used to help my students to better focus on their instruction. My students are in constant motion and their current chairs do not allow them the freedom of movement. They are restricted to sitting in hard seats when all their bodies want to do is wiggle, which in turn will allow them to focus. These chairs will give them the freedom to quietly get the sensory breaks they need while still completing their work in a timely manner. As students of military families learning to advocate for their needs is so important because they are always learning new teachers. My students have advocated for better ways to sit and learn, as the hard desk chairs are making them as they say" very hyper and unable to focus on work". I told them that I would do what I could to get them what they needed. Please help my students the chairs they need to help them meet their sensory needs.
