鈥淐uriosity is the engine of achievement.鈥 鈥 Ken Robinson I have 75 Curious 4th graders, and that's okay by me! Curiosity is what causes students to want to learn more. If they wander from observation to wonder, then they will seek answers to learn and that's when true knowledge comes in. My class is in a small rural district. I have a differentiated class of all types of learners. Starting from low socioeconomic, gifted, special needs, and a lot of enthusiastic students. I believe all students are different and learn in different ways, and on their own time table. That is why I have an open, deskless classroom where my students have the room to collaborate ideas with one another. We have a centered based learning environment where all students have opportunities to work with hands on, real life projects. Assessments come in all shapes and sizes. Learning rarely happens unless you're having fun~
