Hello! My name is Mrs. Coryell and I am the music teacher at the brand new Marionneaux Elementary School. We have close to 800 students from Kindergarten to 8th grade. I teach general music, band, and an after school choir club.
I passionately believe in the importance of music education and the benefits it brings to all students. Learning a musical instrument is proven to help students in many aspects of learning. It improves math, reading, and comprehension skills. It opens doors for many different experiences in elementary school, middle school, high school, college, and beyond! It is also a great way to create meaningful relationships with others that share a love of music.
