I have the incredible experience of teaching both general education and special education students in an inclusion English/Language Arts classroom at North Gwinnett High School. I am inspired by the Kittle/Gallagher philosophy: "Improving literacy means reading every day and reading with choice." We are constantly seeking activities and experiences that extend the learning and make class fun!
Whether we are dressing up as Vikings and belting out epic poems like Beowulf, or designing modern-day tea-parties paired with Victorian Literature, we aim to make literacy meaningful and influence our students in becoming life-long readers and expressive writers! Please help us continue our work!
