In my classroom, students work hard as mathematicians, readers, writers, and scientists every day. I serve a diverse community of learners who are passionate about learning. When my students see the love I have for teaching, I hope they will be motivated and inspired to learn for a lifetime. I want them to understand that learning is not a tedious process, but an adventure that is applied continuously and systematically throughout life. It is my hope that when students leave school, they will not only possess basic knowledge and skills, but they will also have disciplined, practical minds, capable of applying lessons learned in school in the real world. I am entrusted with the education of many young minds, and am enthusiastic and confident in my students abilities to be successful. To me, teaching is not a job, but a privilege. I expect great things from all of my students, and hope to take them on a learning journey that lasts a lifetime.
