Students learn in a variety of ways. Providing a STEM experience in our classroom, will deepen student's knowledge and understanding of Math and Science concepts. There is already space created in our classroom to allow for movement and storage for STEM kits and bins. Students will be championed to follow directions to create masterpieces, make mistakes and recreate, while using their imagination to solve real life problems and projects. Students will look forward to a creative, imaginative and "stem"ulating learning experience through hands on, thought provoking inventions using Legos, K'NEX, Snap Circuits, PICA Toys, Building flakes, and various Math puzzles and games. Additionally, stem bins will be created with task cards using pipe cleaners, toothpicks, building planks, playdoh, tape, and many more items. Most importantly, in conjunction with STEM learning, students will have a comfortable, positive learning classroom.
