Today's high school scholars are expected to explore mathematical concepts in greater depth and complexity than before. Part of that is learning how to appropriately use all kinds of tools. Graphing calculators allow them to interact with equations and graphical representations in ways not fully realized by pencil and paper. In today's technological-based society, having access to advanced technology allows scholars additional opportunities to explore the principles of mathematics and their relation to the real world. Having graphing calculators available in the classroom allows all scholars to access tools and information and promotes deeper understanding for all scholars, no matter their socio-economic status.

About my class
