A teaching easel will give me a place to create our class-created "anchor charts" as we learn new concepts. These anchor charts will be hung around the classroom for all to see. A teaching easel will give me a place to work on a whiteboard or with magnetic materials when teaching whole group or small group lessons to students who are just learning to read and write the English language. A teaching easel will provide a space for magnetic letters or whiteboard markers that students may use independently during our reading block. As you can see, this one item will have MANY uses in our classroom! Please help me to support the needs of my students. They are a wonderful, enjoyable group and they work hard every day to improve their reading and writing skills, but we need your help to really make it happen.
We are requesting blends and digraph teaching tubs to help my kindergarten students make connections between letters and the sounds they make together. These teaching tubs are perfect for exploring blends and digraphs. They let kids identify and sort a variety of hands-on miniatures, play memory games and build vocabulary skills. These materials will give my students an engaging format to learn about blends and digraphs.
