Prior to the pandemic, students were able to share classroom supplies and resources. When we return to school, students will need to have their own supplies in order to safely participate in our math activities. The project cases will allow me to set up the classroom so the students can have individual tools (write & wipe boards, dice, spinners, coins, etc.) at their own seats since we will honor social distancing as best as we can.
Students learn best through hands-on engaging activities that need to be done in a safe environment.
My first graders are fun-loving, energetic, caring, and imaginative. When we transitioned to distance learning in early March of 2020, the need for hands-on materials for engagement and learning was missing. As we now have been asked to come back to "brick and mortar" learning here in Florida, I need to prepare my classroom as best as I can to minimize the risk of passing COVID-19. With your generous donation, my students will have the supplies they need to be as safe and successful as possible.
