I have been teaching pre-k for more than fifteen years and with the ever-changing need of students, I am looking to do something different. More and more, children are having a hard time sitting in chairs to learn.
I was inspired by a free, six foot bench, to give my students some seating options that are less rigid and fun for them. I have already purchased some fabric, talked my mom into making me some pillows for that bench and I am making some crate seating. I am hoping to get some stools, wobble seats and bean bags chairs for my students.
I hope that with options for seating, the students will be more excited about learning and building a great foundation for their future years of education.
