My students are AWESOME! That being said, my students are fun, engaging, curious, and very bright. They live mostly on farms and ranches around the school, with an occasional housing development. Many of the children have parents and other family members that went to school here. We are just another part of their extended family to the students. Our school is situated on the plains of Colorado, not too far from Denver. It is a central hub of the community, since we are one of the local polling places, part of the recreation league basketball sites for practicing and games, church services, and many other activities. Our district is a small rural district. We have two elementary schools, one middle, and one high school. We also have a daycare and an alternative high school. I am so excited to teach STEM and technology to my classes, so much so that I have been here for 16 years!
