The students in my classroom come from low socio-economic settings and have characteristics of autism. They are 3-5 years old and for most of them, this is their first experience in school. These students need the support of an Autism classroom that employs strategies effective for students with Autism, such as swings, schedules, visual prompts, etc. The majority of my students need lots of physical movement to help keep them focused.
