My students come predominately from low income homes. Many students come to school excited for breakfast and lunch as those are the only meals they may eat that day. My kids are super excited to learn and they literally light up when they realize they can do something. Although our school is in an area of high poverty, I expect nothing but the best from my students. There is no reason they can not achieve!
