My students love to use technology and benefit from its integration, but I have limited daily access to technology in my mathematics classroom. I have tried using phones to meet this need, but have found that using phones for access does not work. Students are too distracted by games and social messages.
Using the Chromebooks with a partner, students can complete assignments on Google Classroom, create drawings to help remember shapes and figures, communicate with me, collaborate with other groups, and take online assessments.
The data I can gather from online assessments, changes how I teach. I am informed of exactly how the students are progressing and where they have gaps in their knowledge.
