Regular access to technology is a vital aspect of any 21st Century Classroom. As my students navigate a world saturated with technology, it is essential that they are given guided practice with computers on a daily basis. If funded, this project would help make this dream become a reality. With many students living at or just above poverty level, personal laptops are a luxury many cannot afford. Just 5 Chromebooks in my English I classroom would make a world of difference in ensuring that I can show my students how to use crucial features of the Google suite, design websites, and maintain blogs. I want my students to have exposure to such things in order to help them keep up with more affluent peers in college and beyond. In purchasing Chromebooks for my students, you are helping to set them up for success as contributing members of a global economy.
