I work and live in the small town of Delta Junction, Alaska. The nearest store to buy school supplies is 1.5 hours away. The winters are cold but recess isn't cancelled unless it is colder than -20. I teach a split level class which is made up of half third graders and half fourth graders. We are a very busy classroom because we are constantly switching back and forth between different curriculums.
