I have the honor of serving an awesome group of students ranging in age from Kindergarten through 5th grade. While some of my work with students is done in their classrooms, most of our sessions occur in our cozy little speech room that many kiddos have said “feels very homey” to them. That delights me to no end! Creating a warm and welcoming environment for my students to learn and grow is so important, especially given the challenges so many families have faced re-orienting to in-person learning and navigating the hardships of our world today. When my students come to Speech and Language Support, they experience the joy and connection of individual or small group instruction and have a chance to share their ideas and creativity in a nurturing environment with me, their biggest communication cheerleader! From the bottom of my heart, I adore each of my upwards of 65 students and am so lucky to work with them!
