I am excited to write this project because I want to revamp my morning routine in my classroom. Students eat breakfast in my classroom, and once breakfast is over, they would complete a worksheet every morning. I want to change this routine by giving my students hands on activities that will promote brain development. My goal is to enrich their school experience as much as possible and I need your help! When my students begin their day I would like them to have a wonderful variety of materials to work with that help support reasoning, planning, building, designing and imagination all while practicing and strengthening their fine motor skills. I am requesting a variety of resources that will help me make amazing morning bins for my students. I am requesting Jumbo Tweezers, Pony Beads, Assorted Pom Poms, magnetic letters and lacing letters. These items will be used with premade resources to help build skills such as name recognition, letter recognition, number recognition, identifying color words, shapes, and promoting fine motor skills. Mastering these skills will help my students who are on the path to becoming readers. Thank you so much for helping to create a bright start to our kindergarten day...exercising our brains with smiles on our faces!
