I am requesting keyboards to help my students with online assessments. Students are required to type their writing pieces and currently they are using the screen keyboards. It is difficult for them to see their writing progress because half of the screen is taken up by the on screen keyboard. Since we are using so much technology, I would also like to provide print magazines for my students to read. Having the iPads in my classroom has been wonderful and I know having the keyboards will help my students be successful as technology gets implemented in all areas. My goal is to see all my students have keyboards and this grant will be a great beginning towards that goal.
