We are fortunate to have a small set of laptops for students to use. Each student is able to access Intervention and Enrichment programs such as Lexia, ReadyGEN, i-Ready, NoRedInk, Googles Classroom, etc. for thirty minutes daily. Most of these programs read aloud to students or play videos, which can be hard to hear when students not on the computer are working with their groups nearby.
Headphones will be helpful to our learning environment so that students can access intervention and enrichment programs peacefully and without distraction. With small groups, interventions, enrichment activities and whole class learning occurring simultaneously, lessening distractors will allow students to focus on the tasks at hand.
