"Warm", "inspiring", "bright", and "safe" are just some words that have been used to describe my classroom each and every year. By creating a safe, bright, and inspiring classroom that students want to be in every day, my goal is to help all of my students, regardless of background, become the well educated global citizens that are prepared to enter the 21st century world. Within the 4 walls (and skylight) of my classroom, my students represent the world they will be entering in a few year. . My students come from every cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Even though my students come from these different backgrounds, they are come into my classroom with one purpose: to learn. By using these differences as strengths in the classroom, my students are able to learn from each other. By learning from each other, my students are preparing for the world they will be entering in the next few years.
