I must have been 16 when I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I attribute it to the teachers who believed in me more than I believed in myself. My mother always told us that we needed to go to college. She didn't have that opportunity because she always needed to work to help her parents and then to give my siblings the best she could. She wanted us to become someone and for us to not have to work as hard as she has had to. I love her for that. She is the reason I am the man I am today.
Since the beginning of my teaching career, I've purchased many of the resources I needed and books to build my classroom library. But when I suddenly moved to kindergarten, I had to start all over again. The difference - I had my own children now. It wasn't so easy buying things. Then I discovered ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. I am so thankful for all the donors and partners who help teachers like myself give their students an opportunity at success.
