Having different fidgets allows for my students to have access to a variety of tools that they need in order to be successful. My students are hard working, engaging, unique students that seek different sensory sensations to help them to focus. When they are able to get this sensory release, they are more engaged in the learning that is occurring. The desk-er-ciser band will allow my students to wiggle their feet with some added resistance. This movement allows for my students to release some of their frustrations in an appropriate manner that helps them be successful in the classroom. The mud balls add some weight to different texture balls that allow for quiet focused movement. The variety of other fidgets will allow for students to choose the sensory tool that works best for their own learning.
