My students are 12-14 year old males and females. They work hard to meet their academic and behavior goals. As a result, I use a token economy in my class. They earn tickets for different academic and behavior tasks to redeem for prizes or snacks of their choice. The availability of incentives motivates them to improve or maintain their progress.
