"Look I can read this book all by myself!"
"This is my favorite author and series!"
"Making 3D shapes with Play Doh is my favorite thing to do!"
These are some if the many comments I get to hear each day from my students!
Welcome to our inner city bilingual charter school! My classroom is a bright, energy filled, learning focused room that shows off the many talents of my eager to learn kindergarteners! My students come to school ready to learn every day. These smart and dedicated students spend their day reading, writing, counting, experimenting and learning everything they can in English. What makes them extra special is that they also spend part of their day learning to read and write in Spanish too! These five and six year olds do the best they can to learn with what they are given. It is up to us to help give them what they need to learn and prepare them for the technology based world they are living in.
