Our school is located in Pennsylvania, in the heart of Philadelphia and is comprised of a diverse student population. We love to read, write, and learn. We are energetic five year Olds who are happy with very little. We are located in a high needs area, where poverty is common. We sometimes come to school with a thin jacket in the winter or we do not have boots, coats, pencils, book bags or shoes that fit. Yet, we are so happy and we love school. Surprisingly, most of my students rarely miss school. Our students receive a free lunch because many families cannot afford to provide for their families. We represent many nationalities; Chinese, Vietnamese, Burmese, Nepali, Cambodian, Mexican, Caucasian, and African American.
