I would like my students to have a personal yoga mat that they are responsible for over the course of their eight-year journey at our school. While we do have a school set of yoga mats, they are often in use, not 100% clean, and difficult to snag at a moment's notice. Students will be empowered by the responsibility of having to take care and clean their very own, beautiful mat. It will be their tool they are in charge of at school and at home. Giving them a special tool like a yoga mat will inspire them to practice and give them a sense of ownership and pride for their property and well-being.

About my class
