My students have gone through a rocky start to the year, having just started with a new teacher(me!) at the beginning of December. However I am very excited to get to work, and my students have been handling all the changes with grace. I am trying to do everything in my power to make the transition smoother. One of the things I am trying to accomplish is implementing an intensive teaching program that focuses on verbal and behavioral milestones, which are areas of development my students struggle with.
In order to get this program up and running again I need a few supplies and also reward toys for the students to keep them motivated. Each student needs their own timer and drawer of reinforcements. I also need card stock in different colors to print out each student his or her own set of teaching cards. In order for the program to run smoothly I need highlighters and other tools to help my amazing classroom assistants, aids, and I keep track our students' progress.
My students also need some toys that encourage them to interact with each other during our social play time! My students really like building things and like board games to play! My students and I would be grateful for any assistance our classroom receives.
