We need durable materials that our special education team can use to help catch-up our students to their classmates. We have had success using multiple sensory strategies with our struggling students to retain their letter sounds. My students typically struggle to learn their letter sounds through only printed materials.
Tracing letters through gel, using stamps, sorting 3D objects by initial sounds, these are all ways that my students brains do a better job of learning. Covid continues to have a significant impact on my students and I am unwilling to let a year of learning where they didn't get to maximize how their brain learns be an obstacle for them. Any help you can give would be appreciated!
