My students are on the autism spectrum and struggle with communication skills and academics. The iPads will be a great tool for my students who are non-verbal to demonstrate what they know. The iPads will be used to differentiate instruction. Personalized lesson plans for assessing the needs of each individual student can be created. There are so many great educational and communication apps, and apps specifically for students with special needs. Having so many options, apps will be chosen that best fit the needs of each of my students and the way they learn. The iPads will provide my students opportunities to improve their communication, motor, and cognitive skills.
