All Students Do Not Learn in the Same Way.
Flexible seating is a great way to allow students to take charge of their own learning environment by self selecting seating options that work best for them. When students have seating choices, they are happier, more engaged and are less disruptive of others. Students that have choices in the classroom, work more efficiently and are more productive.
Flexible seating is comfortable for students and it helps them to get the "wiggles" out. Students can choose seating that reflects their mood for the day. This is why flexible seating nurtures collaboration, teaches self regulation and motivates metacognition for successful learning.
