My wonderful students are in need of some fresh art supplies! I like to plan lessons that allow students to experience all types of media, from painting, to clay and to paper mache. Their projects are connected to cultures around the world, famous artists, and their core subjects in their classes. These supplies that we need will benefit students in grades 1st through 6th. The paint brushes will be used for painting pictures and painting our clay projects with the glazes (paints) that we need. We also do a variety of 3D projects, and the hot glue sticks will allow our sculptures to be stronger by using this type of glue! The color pencils will help replenish our current supply, which is an art material that we use quite often.
With money being hard to come by on our student based budgets, fundraising is how I can raise money in order to purchase supplies for my students. I want them to have as many opportunities during their elementary school career to experience as much as they can in my art classes.
