The addition of a Mimio Teach Interactive whiteboard will engage students through more hands on learning activities. This will promote more student-led activities that will encourage them to take ownership for their learning in a fun an innovative way.
My students need ways to be challenged as well as enhance, enrich, and extend their learning in new and engaging ways.
This system would allow for our class to play games, manipulate words, numbers and/or objects, and show their skills and learning to the whole class. By having our work on a large board that we can manipulate and write on, students will gain confidence in their learning and will learn to work and learn cooperatively as a group. Student will then be able to take what they have learned and build those skills even more through interactive small group rotations.
