My students are 4th grade English Language Learners in a Title I school. Most of the students live in low socioeconomic areas and receive free or reduced lunch. Their language abilities range from only being able to speak Spanish (Pre-emergent language level) to speaking in mostly English (Intermediate language level). They are great students, and truly enjoy reading non-fiction and informational text!
