Sometimes, people take general school supplies for granted. Having a pencil handy may seem like nothing to many people, but to for some it may mean the world. These classroom supplies will go a long way in setting my students up for success.
For one, I have many students who are neurodivergent and being able to provide students with headphones during the lesson will help me to differentiate my material and provide a welcoming and safe environment. In addition, my students come from diverse households with varying income levels. There are times when students' performance suffer simply because they lack basic materials. With your help, I can provide materials like pencils and journals to my kiddos so that they aren't left behind.
