All the items in the list above are used to help with the organization process in the classroom and individually. The plastic wall folders will help keep the classroom organized, The 1-inch binders will help keep each of the students organized with the notes we will do on a daily basis, and the crochet needles will help the students learn a long-lost skill.
The use of these supplies will help the students who are unable to obtain these supplies individually. I work in a lower socioeconomic area, and students are at a disadvantage compared to other schools in the state. This will directly impact their lives and create a stress-free environment they can come to on a daily basis. These materials will have a direct positive impact in the lives of the students and families because it takes the stress of obtaining supplies for school off their backs.
Many of the student in my art class are not able to provide their own supplies. This project would help the students have an easier time obtaining the supplies they need not just for this class but for all their classes. This will create a welcoming and positive environment in the classroom and in the entire school environment.
