I am a fourth year teacher at a very high-needs school in Clearwater, Florida. All students receive free breakfast and lunch, and many receive dinner as well. For a large majority of the students, English is not their first language. These added stressors can make academic achievement seem impossible for the students, but I intend to change that mindset!
