Adventure, inquiry, engagement, and exploration are expected on this field trip of a lifetime! Our fourth graders are invited to stay the night at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The museum will have workshops, based on Common Core Science standards and Colorado Social Studies standards, before students travel through time in the exhibits of the museum.
Students will explore diverse exhibits, attend engaging workshops, experience an IMAX movie, and adventure through the Denver Zoo. They will make connections and apply their new knowledge of science and social studies through the different events on this trip.
They will learn about animal adaptations, the human body, force and motion, electricity, fossils, and the history of Colorado throughout our stay at the museum.
