Every morning I am greeted by a group of smiling faces, ready to take on the day. I teach the most amazing group of 3rd-5th grade students with Intellectual Disabilities. They have a hunger for knowledge, and I have the great privilege of feeding that hunger. However, certain learning activities present obstacles for them. In addition to an intellectual disability, some of the children also experience physical challenges. Meeting their unique needs is my number one priority.
