Hi everyone!
My name is Nicole and I am in my 13th year teaching as a Certified Adapted Physical Education (C.A.P.E.) teacher in the School District of Lancaster.
I have the pleasure of traveling throughout my district to teach my own Adapted PE classes, as well as work within inclusive Physical Education settings. My job is to modify and adapt activities so that students with disabilities can have greater opportunities to be successful in physical activities while feeling empowered and accepted among their peers. I work with students in grades K-13 and in classrooms such as Life Skills, Autistic Support, and Multiple Disability Support.
Many of my students require specialized equipment or equipment I make on my own for them. This platform has done so much for my classroom and I am always grateful for the hearts that choose to give to educators.
